Carolyn and Mike’s gorgeous rustic chic vineyard Carmel Valley Ranch wedding full of love and lavender was featured over at The Knot Magazine online. Coastside Couture did a fabulous job with all the details from green linens and gold accents. They even set out matching shawls for when the fog rolled into the Carmel Valley after their sun kissed vineyard garden wedding. Darcy’s florals from Seascape Flowers were over the top gorgeous. However, my favorite vendor that went unnoticed under Kelly Productions was the uber talented, Mark Banks. His solo talent set the atmosphere and mood bringing a warm intimacy to this small wedding of only 40 guest. You must go have a listen to Mark Bank’s smooth vocals and personal spin he adds to each song he covers. I totally recommend hiring him if you have any dinner party or event coming up!
After our first date was rained out, Sarah and Andrew came back from LA for an engagement session full of sunshine in Carmel Valley. We started off with a drink at the newly remodeled Bernardus Lodge before heading down the road to Garland Ranch Regional Park for sunset. They look pretty put together given they spent the day wine tasting before we met up! I’m so looking forward to their wedding at Holman Ranch with Coastside Couture, The Hair & Make Up Company and a whole list of fabulous vendors come this October.
Haleh and Aaron hosted a gorgeous wedding the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains at venue retreat, Stones and Flowers. Being able to get to spend the weekend in cabins all over the grounds and mingle with your friends, hike in the sunshine and have a campfire at night is one way to stretch out your wedding weekend! I fully encourage couples to make the most of their cocktail by getting photos out of the way pre-ceremony by doing a fist look. However, having a whole weekend with your favorite people and doing a first look allowed them to hang with all their guest throughout their entire day once the ceremony started. Blending their cultures, Haleh’s family brought their traditions to the ceremony and some amazing local bites from their favorite restaurant to the cocktail hour along with a special knife dance to the reception party!
The Knot highlighted a photo from Kelsey and Blaine’s Napa wedding last summer in their “7 ways to Incorporate Something Blue into Your Wedding Day.” Since Kelsey’s dad passed away, she had one of his old ties sewn into the bottom of her dress in the shape of a heart along with his old wedding ring. She added their soon to be initials as a monogram to top it all off. You can view more ideas over at TheKnot.com
Wanting to highlight the new owners of the historical Sand Rock Farm who brought their culinary skills down from Tahoe with them, we brought to life a wedding day that put the focus on the food and fun as a family style dinner. Farm to table to Booth Bus, it was a really fun shoot to be a part of that day. Thanks so much for all the talent that Eileen of Event Co. pulled together.

Honored and excited to be featured on Magnolia Rouge’s site showcasing the gorgeous Julee Chic Gowns. Julee Chic offers custom dresses with fine details such as gold thread and a little sparkle under your tulle for the softest feminine touches for your gown on your wedding day. Julee even mentioned customizing colors of the dress for the non-traditional bride. I can’t wait to see the black dress she’s customizing for a bride who is marrying on Halloween. Check out her selection online or schedule an appointment with her to see which is your fav. I love the Orlando gown with the full tull. It’s so light and airy. Perfect for a beach or garden wedding!

Pretty in pink at this barn venue. Alyssa and Zack hosted their wedding out at a family friends barn just past Carmel Valley area. Zack being in the ag business felt right at home in the open space with tractors and old trucks around the grounds. The barn venue itself has a gorgeous lush green lawn with the ceremony site backed up to the barn doors for the backdrop. The barn owner put a bar inside as an owner of a restaurant himself. He obviously knows how to make good use of a barn. She had beaut detailed signs and florals with a few special signature drinks and little custom jams made up as take home gift. Soon moving to Tennessee, I hope to catch up with these two when they travel back for some family photos in the future.
Two of my favorite talents have officially merged to form The Hair and Make Up Company. Sarah and Melissa have been working together for years. They’ve now set up shop down in Carmel Valley where I get to share a little studio space with them. So Excited!! Decorating a new space is always so fun- Especially with these two! I look forward to posting some pictures of it once it is all done. We spent the day dolling up a couple girls to create some fresh new images for the new studio and along with a look book for their new branding.
