FAQ 1 //  How do I secure your services?
Portrait fees are due at the time of the session.  A $50 travel fee is collected at booking for sessions outside of Santa Cruz. Weddings require a contract and a $2000 deposit.  Elopements are $1000 deposit.  Final balance for your wedding is due one month before your date at which time you can finalize your wedding collection.

FAQ 2 // What type of payment do you accept?
Cash, Check or Venmo.

FAQ 3 // What type of gear do you have? Do you have back up gear?
I shoot with two Canon 5D MIII camera body along with professional grade lenses and off camera lighting. I have back up gear as does my second photographer. Even my memory cards back up as I shoot. I’ve got you covered!

FAQ 4 // How long until my images are ready?
Portrait sessions typically take about 2 weeks, while wedding images take about 4-6 weeks. I’m happy to pull a few early for thank you cards or a gift for family. All images are color corrected. Additional retouching for blemishes are only done for print and/or album orders.

FAQ 5 // Can you recommend locations for our shoot?
I’m happy to make suggestions for locations to shoot at dependent on what look you’re after or you can check out my blog to see some location ideas.

FAQ 6 // How many images do I receive? Are they all color?
For portrait work, I deliver 100+ images. I find my favorites may not be your favorites and err on the side of delivering more than less. For wedding work, you can expect roughly 100 images per hour. I include both color and black and white in the mix.

FAQ 7 // Do you travel for assignments?
Yes. I love a fun adventure. I’ve been to New York to Australia for work assignments. I’m happy to discuss logistics to make it to your wedding! For portrait session outside of Santa Cruz County there is a travel fee.  Weddings north of SF and south of Big Sur do have travel fees.  Please inquire with me through my contact form for a custom estimate.

FAQ 8 // Do you have insurance?
Yes. I have full insurance for events and all my equipment. I’m happy to get your venue a certificate of insurance.
